Workshops, Experiences & Events
Seafood centered workshops, events, and experiences designed to inspire and empower fish-curious folk to learn and love your local catch
hi, I’m Trish
When I was a fishmonger, I realized a lot of people had questions about seafood and really wanted someone willing to take the time to answer them.
So I started answering them.
And here we are!
I create workshops, events & experiences where fish-curious folk can feel empowered and inspired to ask questions, get hands-on with seafood, and try something new.
Upcoming Events
We ♥️ BC Crab Confidence Pop-Up Series
September - October 2026
Ever looked at a whole Dungeness crab and thought… yeah not sure what to do with that…?
No worries, I’ve got you on this.
The We ♥️ BC Crab Confidence Pop-Up is a free travelling seafood education experience presented by the BC Crab Fishermen’s Association with the generous support of Buy BC.
This pop-up series takes the mystery out of buying whole Dungeness crab and replaces it with practical know-how you can actually use.
Through approachable chats, hands-on tips, displays to help you get to know the crabs and the crew behind the catch, and take-home resources, you’ll learn how to buy, cook, crack and enjoy one of British Columbia’s most iconic local seafoods.
Never cooked or cracked a whole crab before? Perfect. That’s where we start.
We’ll be popping up around the lower mainland and Vancouver Island throughout September and October so come say hi, ask us anything (about crab…), and leave knowing, “I can totally pull this off!”
